Lambert, Hendricks and Ross....Cottontail ... and a Twisted bonus!

Posted by La, Storyteller/Storysinger at 1:03 PM

I just love they way some folks retell stories!!
This version of Peter Cottontail by Lambert, Hendricks and Ross is a favorite of mine.
Hope you like it!

Don't ya just love these gadgety things??? hmmm...is it just me?? :(

Lyrics

Okay...this is my fave song by them...well mostly sung by Annie Ross.
You really need to listen to it when all three of them are singing it.

Labels: Cottontail, jazz, Lambert Hendricks and Ross, singing, song, storytelling

"It ought to be the rule, rather than the exception, that young children listen to, read, act out, and discuss fairy tales, myths, legends, folklore, heroic adventures, biographies, and stories from history."

The Storyteller's Creed by Robert Fulghum

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge,

That myth is more potent than history,

That dreams are more powerful than facts,

That hope always triumphs over experience,

That laughter is the only cure for grief,

And I believe that love is stronger than death.

Time for a Tale

All people, black, white, brown, red, and yellow, are like each other when they tell stories.
